What's New
Our new "trusted scout" at Doringcourt is a little guy named J. R. He was born November 17th, 2005 and came to us at 8 weeks of age. He's growing by leaps and bounds and by the size of his paws he'll be a LARGE guard dog. He already rides in the gator and is learning how to mingle and get along with ALL the animals. His current favorites are the chickens and rabbits. He's a little afraid of Hershey, the camel, but will run past him if I'm along. He's quite the cutie!

"Jack" A ten year old miniature donkey that has the exact same coloring as our Donkey Odie, only half the size. Seen here with Lathan after his arrival in December 2005.

New at our place, a five year old goat that we've named Oreo, for obvious reasons! She's wonderful with the children and loves attention. She fits right in with the elk, llamas, deer and miniature donkey, and loves it when we have visitors. Come see her!

On May 17, 2005, our Buffalo "Tatonka" had a new arrival and we named him "Siouxnami". He's definitely as rambunctious as a tsunami, but much cuter! He stays close to mom most of the time but will let you touch him if he's by the fence. Little horns already erupting and he's definitely got his mom's good looks. Come see him when you get the chance.
