Over time I've come to realize that the quality of training, where horses are concerned, is due largely to the convictions of the person doing the training. In my opinion, quality horsemanship is hard to find. Years ago I was lucky enough to meet a woman who has literally educated me in all the equine areas we "think" we already know. What's the old saying? You can't know what you don't know! What a rude awakening that was for me. She introduced me to the teachings of GaWaNi Pony Boy, author of "Horse Follow Closely" and "Of Women and Horses", which gave me a better understanding of "respect of the herd". So as I make this introduction, know that of all the instructors that are out there, she's second to none.

A few years ago I came across a rather unique individual that impressed me with his "kind side" of dealing with horses as well as people. Dedicated to the bonding of horse and rider, he is a "patient" force in dealing with different breeds that require a unique and individual training approach.

Several years ago I met a young lady with a wonderful spirit and a BIG desire to have a relationship with a horse and learn all there was to know about the equine industry. Enjoying adventures with her equine friend . . . horse shows, trail rides, swimming, braiding, equine health & maintenance, just to name a few, seemed the perfect choice. One of her dreams was to teach children to ride and share the same experiences she's been able to have. We're happy to have her on our team of instructors.
